San Fernando Valley State College later became California State University, Northridge.
Photograph caption dated May 19, 1965 reads, "Valley State College's band of world champion Monopoly players - longest continuous game - display their trophy and the board which made it possible. From left, are, front, Tom Sumner, Ted Petersen, Tom Griffin and Bob Thompson; rear, Art Zittell, Tom Klarin, Steve Parry, Chris Job, Ron Polanski and Ken Petrello. The group set a new world time record of 339 hours, 12 minutes."
