The California Institution for Women has its own ceramics workshop and classroom. Girls who make various items here receive one-third of the sale price. For instance if an item is sold for 75 cents, the girl who made it gets 25 cents and the institution gets 50 cents, which covers cost, etc. Photo dated: July 14, 1954.
