Description
Photograph caption dated Febuary 2, 1962 reads, "The camera catches the expressions of a losing coach. Paul Thomas, who guides the destinies of the Valley State basketball team watches as his team loses its 15th straight game and sixth straight in conference play. First is the hope that this play may click, then the anticipation, but again it didn't work. Finally touches his shoe tops in utter desperation. It's as low as things can get. But there is always another day coming." See images 00163123 through 00163127 for additional photos in this series.
