Description
Manifold sends a telegram from Liverpool to Rogers at the Theatre Royal to inform him of Charles Kean's illness. Mamfold states that Kean will not be able to act for a period of months. Letter contains secondhand notation. Notation, handwritten at bottom, states the following: "greatest success in Louis XI in Liverpool 5/28/67." Note also includes signature or initial of clerk with a date handwritten below of "D. 1/28/68."
