Photograph of a view of Ocean Avenue in Long Beach, ca.1906. Two sets of streetcar tracks run down the middle of an unpaved road at center. A line of utility poles can be seen between the tracks. The street is lined with two- or three-story buildings and sidewalks on both sides. At left, several horse-drawn vehicles and early automobiles are visible. A group of pedestrians is crossing the road at right. The photograph has been extensively touched-up. Legible signs include, from left: "Real Estate", "Palace Sweets", "Pool", "The Butler Furnished Rooms", "Shirley V. Bacon Photo Studio", and "Del Mar D[ining] Room".
