Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated December 4, 1950 reads, "Believed to be a hundred years old is the original Zelzah barn in Northridge. Thousands of fertile acres surrounding it were once sown to beans and wheat." The article partially reads, "Only memories remain of what was once the extensive Zelzah Ranch between Reseda and Northridge. What is probably the oldest ranch house and barn in the Valley now is owned by Jack H. Fry, retired Griffith Park concessionaire...The old Zelzah Ranch dwelling is located at 8369 Reseda Blvd. and is opposite the new Lutheran Church where the Zelzah ranchers did their blacksmithing and foundry work."; See images #00071999 through #00072001 for all photos in this series.
