This is a "very rough" set of notes written by Peter Drucker for his paper presentation at the 4th International Congress of TIMs, on October 17, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. They are about "Long-Range Planning". In the notes Drucker covers what long-range planning is and is not, why it is needed, who uses it, the necessary knowledge involved, and the contribution made to it by management science. There is a short note in front asking for someones comments on the outline. There are handwritten corrections throughout the paper.
