This advertisement for the Hippodrome theater spanned three days, commencing with Sunday, April 3rd, 1927. In addition to the photoplay program, the news featured many advertisements from Sacramento’s local businesses. Originally known as the Empress Theater the name changed to the Hippodrome in 1918, by 1927 it became a full time movie house.
