Members of the rum yacht Allegro as they arrived for the official hearing conducted at Camden following the capture of the rum ship off Cape May, N.J. A Coast Guard cutter chased the rum ship for nearly a hundred miles, during the chase two women and several of the men jumping into the water but were later picked up. The identity of the women was withheld, but nine men, of the crew, were arraigned for hearing before [Fe]deral Commissioner Armstrong. [...] [4]/31" -- typed note attached to verso. "Received.
