Photograph caption dated October 26, 1950 reads, "Hours before the doors of the Temple Israel were thrown open, five person already waited in line to go into the temple to attend the funeral services for Al Jolson. Left to right, Harry Abraham, studio driver who knew Jolson for 40 years; Wayne Carlock, student; Bill Ryan, entertainer; Lloyd F. McGoffin, salesman, and Joseph A. Kantor, a blind man, who appeared at the doors at 3:30 a.m."
