In 1976, the Pacific Theatre chain sold the drive-in, which was later demolished.
Photograph article dated April 18, 1960 reads, "Enjoying gala opening night festivities at the new Canoga Park Drive-In Theater are, left to right, Doyle Shelledy, manager of the new Pacific Drive-In Theater; Jim Barka, and Frank Diaz, district manager. The theater is on Canoga Avenue between Saticoy Street and Roscoe Boulevard."
