Description: Photograph caption dated May 24, 1962 reads, "Edwin MacKenzie of Burbank prepares the items he's fashioned from uprooted tree trunks for entry in Burbank's second annual Hobby and Gadget Show to be held at McCambridge Park Center, 1515 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Saturday and Sunday. Surveying his work are, from left, Mrs. G. A. Carlson, assistant chairman, and Mrs. Gloria Dea Shulem, chairman of the event sponsored by the Women's Council of Burbank and the Burbank Park and Recreation Dept. Hours for the show are 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Admission price is 50 cents for adults, 25 cents for children."
