Description
Shows the destruction of the Fremont Hotel, 204 West Santa Clara Street., San Jose, California. There is a crane reaching up to the roof. Most of the structure of the building is intact. Taken from the opposite street corner. The front half of a car is visible in the foreground. The building in the background is the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Building (95 Almaden Avenue) Information taken from the 1966 San Jose City Directory. Part of the Park Center Redevelopment Project.
