Photograph caption dated October 8, 1958 reads, "Apricot grove - A. H. Prince, standing left, owner of Prince Ranch, directs workers in picking apricots for drying about 1900. Ranch and fruit dryer were in present site of North Hollywood Park where pioneer residents will gather for 12th annual picnic Sunday from noon to 4 p.m." See image 00156142 for additional photo in this series.
