Description: The California Institution for Women in Corona has its own gym, which doubles as an auditorium and can seat 500. Besides sport events, movies are shown here also. They have a projection machine that's as good as the neighborhood theaters and once a week films are shown. In this scene, the inmates enjoy a game of volleyball. Photo dated: July 10, 1954.
