Photograph caption dated July 18, 1964 reads "Keith Freeman, left, British bloodstock official who uncovered fleet Colorado King in South Africa, points the way to Hollywood Park's $162,100 Hollywood Park Gold Cup, the 'King's' big objective today. Others in the 'saucer' are W. R. Hawn, co-owner of Colorado King, Ray York who will pilot the South African star, and Colorado King. Big race will be televised at 5 p.m." The subjects in the photograph are seen inside the gold cup which is against a black background with stars and planets.
