Description
A photographic reproduction of a tongue-in-cheek, though earnest, classified ad requesting information on the whereabouts of Dolores, the much-loved Pepperdine College fountain statue, which had been stolen on May 27, 1955. Dolores, the frequent target of pranksters, was occasionally stolen by students and school rivals throughout her 45 year history.
