Photograph caption date stamped August 1, 1964 reads "Curt Gammell, competing for Cal Lutheran of the Lion summer basketball league at Valley College, scores on jump shot during recent game against Casa de Cadillac. The Cadillacs meet Broadway Federal at L.A. City College Monday, then return to the Valley Tuesday night for a 7 p.m. game with Pikes in one of two semi-final games of the Lion league." Los Angeles Valley College is in Van Nuys.
