Description
Photograph of the State Capitol grounds in Sacramento, ca.1900. Small leaves of a large tree hang over the foreground where a thin, paved path leads a fountain on the left. People rest in the shade over the benches which encircle the fountain while others enjoy the sunlight near the large statue depicting a young man on the far right. Various trees shade the trimmed lawn of the extensive grounds.
