Description
Medicine bottle from O.L. Halsell Pharmacy. Oliver Linden Halsell was a native of Orange County, born in 1874 in an area south of Santa Ana known as Gospel Swamp. He started as a druggist, but sold out in 1910 to enter the real estate investment field, becoming one of the primary organizers of the Fairhaven Land and Development Company. On August 28, 1911, he and a few other local businessmen created Fairhaven Memorial Park.
