Dorn, while three of the pilots who will race in the unlimited class pylon competition get a close look at the checkered flag they will be seeking May 28-31 at Fox Field in Lancaster. Holding the flag at left is Chuck Lyford of Seattle, who will be flying the Miss Bardahl P51 Mustang. Darrell Greenamyer of Van Nuys, third from left, will pilot a Lockheed P38 Lightning and Clay Lacy of Canoga Park will race a P51 sponsored by Cal Airmotive of North Hollywood. Included in the four-day program will be aerobatic and sky-diving competition."
