Photograph was edited for publication purposes Boy Scouts would often carry 'good turn coins' as a reminder to do good deeds daily. The coins would be placed in one pocket and transfered to the other once a good deed had been performed. Photograph caption dated June 17, 1964 reads, "North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and Mrs. Russell A. Quisenberry help dedicate Jubilee Scout Ranch commissary. Also shown are, second from left [sic], Paul Palmer, Valley Boy Scout Council president, and Dave Dobbs, the Antelope Valley scout ranch's resident ranger." The article partially reads, "Quisenberry unearthed a sack of 'good turn coins' to break ground for a new commissary and stores building on the camp site."; See images #00117953 through #00117954 for all photos in this series.
