This map, a section of a lithograph of a U.S. Pacific Rail Road Expedition Survey map, shows North America from California to Lousiana, and as far north and south as the Great Lakes and Durango. Mountain ranges and bodies of water are indicated, as are political boundaries. The title and key sit in the lower left corner.
