Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated November 18, 1961 partially reads, "Burbank detectives today were investigating a possible $3,000 to $4,000 a day bookmaking operation as the cause of the argument which led to the slaying of an unemployed Burbank bartender Friday. James Vincent Bocci, 40, 4304 W. Verdugo Ave., was shot to death during an argument with Joseph A. Donato, 31, of 918 N. Clybourn Ave., in Donato's home, police said.
