Photograph caption reads: "With the smoke of a blazing covered wagon filling the air, gold-hungry pioneers take cover behind other wagons to fight off attacking Apaches in this scene from the Sunday afternoon action show at Corriganville, the Simi Valley movie ranch. The young lady at the right appears to be a curvy mass of indecision--but we can't say we really blame her with Apaches closing in". Corriganville Movie Ranch, in Santa Susana, California, was open to the public Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays and offered a variety of entertainment. Overnight camping was available and guided tours during movie filming were offered. Photograph dated: Oct. 13, 1962.
