Note: Als Nr. 78 publiziert im Album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer', Neuenburg 1895. - Bildlegende im Album: "Eine andere Strasse von Agogo (Asante). - Auf den Wurzeln dieses Baumes sitzend, verbrachten die Gefangenen mit ihren abgemagerten Kindern den grössten Theil des Tages während den drei Wochen, wo sie schmachtend den Entscheid des Kumasekönigs erwarteten." Note translation: Published as no 78 in the album 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer' (= 'Eighty pictures of the Gold Coast (West Africa) by the missionary Fritz Ramseyer'), Neuchâtel 1895. - Caption there: "Another street in Agogo (Asante). - The prisoners and their emaciated child spent three weeks sitting, during the day, on the roots of the tree in this picture, during the three weeks in which they suffered, waiting for a decision [about their future] from the King of Kumase."
