Photograph caption dated February 10, 1962 reads "Bob Handloser gets pointers from Charlie Powell, the athlete who tried his hand at boxing as well as professional football (San Francisco 49ers). Handloser is in the Golden Gloves competition tonight at the Olympic Auditorium when he fights Carlton Hogan in the open heavyweight division."
