Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on November 5, 1973 states: "A State Division of Highways crew checks scene of tragic weekend wreck where Greyhound bus rammed overpass pillar at San Juan Road on Interstate 880. Loretta Jones, lower left, and Bertie Mays, lower right (subject photo), are recovering from the injuries suffered in the accident." (The victim's identifications are reversed according to the notations on the back of the photos. See 07246.)
