This photo of Neighborhood Community Church was taken from across the street along 47th Place. It shows a large cream-color corner building with a brown roof and brown trim. Several steps lead to the main entrance, which has a large circular window directly above it. And above that, a windowless octagonal tower is visible. The church has houses on either side of it. A marquee nestled inside a trimmed hedge at the front of the church (not visible in this photo) reads "Neighborhood Community Church - H. Mansfield Collins, 1940, Founder - J W Woods, Jr., Pastor" along with the order of service and times listed. Verso on photograph states that this church was formerly the First Christian Reformed Church of Los Angeles, possibly dating as far back as 1930, but it does not list when it acquired its current name or what specific denomination is practiced. Photo dated: May 2004.
