Gore Vidal discusses his book, “Lincoln.” Vidal describes Abraham Lincoln’s political character and presidency. He goes on to discuss Mary Lincoln and her relationship with her husband and Mary’s feelings toward slavery. Vidal also discusses his family’s background and their Civil War ties.
