Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on February 8, 1963 reads: "A week ago the storm waters of the South Yuba River ran through the house of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Avila at Glacier Gap, Placer County. But yesterday the river had retreated and carpets and other household items, indicated by arrows, were placed out to dry on the rocks in the warm sun as this winter's weather turned to another phase of its many and varied moods."
