Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Photograph caption dated July 3, 1933 reads, "Here are the Yale, Harvard and Cornell Crews, which arrived here early today for the intercollegiate rowing regatta at Long Beach, Friday and Saturday. The oarsmen started practice on the Olympic course today. Yale, boating of a marvelous sprint crew, which its coach, Ed Leader, praises highly, is rated as the strongest of the invaders. Harvard, under Coach Charles Whiteside, has won three successive victories over Old Eli in the four-mile races, but had a new combination on this trip. Cornell, according to its coach, James Wray, is a green crew."
