A view toward the Calaveras Big Tree Grove Hotel in the middle distance; the trunks of two huge trees frame the view with a path between leading to the hotel; a tree obscures part of the hotel and to its left is a very tall, thin evergreen tree; fir trees stand up behind the hotel. "Works and Sun Sculpture Studios."
