First photograph caption dated February 2, 1957 reads, "Tommy Tibbs checks his weight prior to meeting Lauro Salas in 10-rounder tonight at Hollywood Legion Stadium. Tibbs is slight choice to repeat Jan. 12 victory over Salas." Photograph also used in article dated March 23, 1957.
