Teltmissionen (fra 1937 Dansk Pathanmission), NWFP, Pakistan. Fra Kirkegården i Mardan, Peshawar distrikt. Graven til højre: Dr. med. Marie Kirstine Holst, stifter af Teltmissionen i 1903. Død 18. februar 1917 efter en trafikulykke på vej hjem fra et sygebesøg. (Bibeltekst: Salme 126, 5 - De, der sår under tårer, skal høste med jubel). De øvrige tre gravsteder stammer fra 19. maj 1934, hvor der skete en tragedie på hospitalet i Mardan. En psykotisk mand trængte ind på hospitalet og dræbte missionssygeplejerske Frederikke Bøj og den indiske sygeplejerske, Rachel, samt Margrethe og Jens Christensens eneste søn, John Martyn på 7 år. Manden flygtede op i bjergene mod Afghanistan og blev aldrig fundet af myndighederne

Description
The Tent Mission (from 1937 Danish Pathan Mission), NWFP, Pakistan. From the Graveyard at Mardan, Peshawar District. The grave to the right: DM Marie Kirstine Holst, founder of the Tent Mission in 1903. She died 18th February 1917, following a traffic accident on her way home from work. (Bible text: Psalm 126, 5 -Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy). The three other graves are from 19th May 1934 where a tragedy occurred at the hospital in Mardan. A psychotic man entered the hospital and killed the Missionary Nurse, Frederikke Bøj, the Indian Nurse, Rachel and also the only son of Margrethe and Jens Christensen, 7 year old John Martyn. The man fled into the mountains towards Afghanistan and was never caught by the authorities.
