Description
Photograph caption dated February 13, 1962 reads, "George Escobar, left, new postmaster of Woodland Hills, is sworn in by Postal Inspector S. H. Jensen as the community's second postmaster. Escobar moved from the post of assistant superintendent of mails in Van Nuys to succeed Russ Neely, who retired in December, 1961, after 23 years of service."
