Description
View of cast members of "Meet the People of 44" in western-style costumes promoting a hacksaw service. Sponsored by the Hollywood Music Box Theatre, the service was designed to help conserve gasoline and to prevent traffic on Hollywood Blvd. during the run of the production. From L to R: Mel Spiro, Roberta Lee, Jean Ruth, Julie Gold and Joyce Horne. A few different businesses, including Hollywood Bedding Mfg. Co., are visible in the background across the street.
