Description
Lee de Forest and first 4-stage audio amplifier, Radio Telephone & Telegraph Company's Laboratory and Factory, Bronx, New York, 1913. This Audion exhibit was used to prove the value of the Audion for his 1913 federal trial for stock fraud. (He was acquitted, but several business partners were convicted.)
