Description
Scope/Content: Photograph depicts a uniform that was issued in 1961 to Khambang Sibounheuang. Such uniforms were worn during the Secret War in Laos from 1961-1975. The owner held various positions including Combat NCO Infantry from 1961 to 1967 and Company Commander Command of Special guerrilla Forces in Northern Central and South Laos. He was wounded twice during the war, which was fought against North Vietnamese Communists who had illegally invaded Laos from 1961 to 1975.
