Description
This 5 Kw TPTG (tune plate, tune grid) transmitter, the second (after Anacostia) short wave transmitter to be used by the Navy, used an early water cooled tub. Note the "gutter" bottle on side; plate supply 20 kv 500 cycle. Heintz and Kohlmoos, ca. 1923. Photographer : [ ] and Herrmann
