Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). Date supplied by cataloger based on copy held by the Library of Congress. "LJR"--text, artist's initials on stone, bottom left of image. "Printed by Aluminography -- The Ellery-Howard Co., New York."--text, bottom right margin. "Philadelphia Sunday Press has completed arrangements for a series of novelettes by the greatest authors of the time including R.D. Blackmore (author of Lorna Doone) Ouida Bret Harte..."--text, center right of image.
