Ready to pin on shiny new bars is Lt. Gil Farin, CAP squadron commander. Others who moved up in rank were Lt. Edward Guadu, pilot and executive officer, and Lt. Stella Guadu, personnel and administrative officer. Both became first lieutenants of the squadron which meets Tuesdays at 8 p.m. at 8100 Balboa Blvd., Van Nuys."
