Photograph article dated April 18, 1962 reads, "Russian atom bomb tests held last October will be the cause of 'catastrophic storms, floods and earthquakes in abnormally high frequency' during the month of May, a Swedish researcher predicted today. Sven Svantesson, holidaying in Sunland, told the Valley Times TODAY that part one of a two-part Svantesson prediction has already come true. Prediction, Part One: There will be abnormal record-high solar activity starting Dec. 20, 1961, and ending about Feb. 4, 1962... Prediction, Part Two: May's abnormal weather."
