Expositional statements by Peter F. Drucker exploring the managing process. Drucker uses the Downtown Department Store and its location in the community of Twin Folks, Texas as a case study. Because of the establishment of several successful businesses in the area, such as Sears, Roebuck, which attracted Downtown's business away from their store, and its failed expansion to compete with Sears, the Downtown store was closed.
