Henry Dockweiler was a Los Angeles pioneer, businessman, and Democratic politician who served three terms as Los Angeles City Councilman, from 1870 through 1874. Henry Dockweiler was opposed to slavery and secession, and was one of the first people in Los Angeles to support Abraham Lincoln.
