Photograph caption dated September 12, 1964 reads, "Religious leaders examine 300 year-old Shofar, or ram's horn, from Israel, to be sounded at opening of 10th annual Memorial Service to the departed at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Mount Sinai Memorial Park. From left are Benjamin Dwoskin, Mount Sinai general manager; Rabbi Hillel E. Silverman, who will give memorial address, and Cantor Carl Urstein, who will chant the liturgy."
