Description: This "dollar scramble" craze turned into a real scramble today when a crowd of "investors" rioted around a "dollar plant" at 1070 South Western Avenue today. It started when a gray-haired woman shouted she had "lost five dollars." The crowd rushed into the shop and overturned counters in search of dollar letters. They found only small change. Shown surveying damage are left to right: Officer E. J. Hutchinson, Gloria Hughes and Officer N. A. Pound. Photo dated: May 22, 1935.
