Photograph caption dated August 26, 1958 reads, "Ford's first stop - Enroute to Lake Isabella recreation area motorlog party stopped briefly to view spectacular grandeur of Red Rock Canyon lying on either side of Highway 6. Bright red Ford convertible provided striking modern contrast to ancient canyon wall carved over centuries by nature's gently working elements."
