Image of agriculture and livestock-related scenes on a certificate from the Norfolk Agricultural Society of Massachusetts; farmer milking a cow, man with horses, farm workers plowing fields near cattle and sheep, birdhouses and beehives in foliage, and grain sheaves make a decorative border for certificate text; embossed "Norfolk Agricultural Society 1849" seal at bottom left.
Single-color print. Date supplied by cataloger based on item text. "F. F. Oakley's Lith. 204 Washn. St. Boston, Mass."--text, bottom right margin. "This certifies that William Channing Clapp, is a Member of the Norfolk Agricultural Society. Marshall P. Wilder President. Henry O. Hildreth Secretary."--text, center of image.
