Description
Photograph of a line of missiles ready for launch, ca.1960. To the left, a group of seven lightly-colored missiles sit on an empty road. Each missile is long and cylindrical, except for the pointed tip at the front. Three ridges perpendicular to the body of the missile can be seen at the tail of the missile. Two of the ridges are also lightly-colored, but one is darkly-colored. A large number can be seen on each ridge of the missile. Each missile also sits atop a wheeled, metallic cart. Directly across from the missiles, a chain fence can be seen surrounding a rocky field filled with vegetation. In the extreme background, sections of a city can be seen.
